The rapper revealed in a new music video for his song "Temporary," starring Skylar Grey, on Thursday that his 28-year-old daughter Hailie Jade is expecting her first child. A blue blouse with the words "Grandpa" on the back is given to her father by Jade, a podcaster and musician, at one point in the film. After that, Eminem looks shocked and holds up a sonogram picture, and Jade laughs and grins at her dad's response to the news.


The music video features a collage of home films from Jade and Eminem's early years intercut with images from her most recent marriage to Evan McClintock. At one point, Enimen raps lyrics on the circle of life, dedicating the song to Jade. He says, "So Hailie Jade, I wrote this song to help you cope with life when I'm gone." Jade shared a series of pictures of herself and McClintock staring at the sonogram on her Instagram page shortly after the video's publication. She captioned the pictures with the information that their kid is coming in a year.


Since 2016, Jade and McClintock have been a couple. In February 2023, they declared their engagement, and as of May, they had been wed. “Waking up a wife this week,” Jade posted on her Instagram profile at the time. "The weekend celebration was beyond wonderful and beyond our expectations. There were a tonne of joyful tears shed, smiles and chuckles, and an overwhelming amount of love. This is Jade and McClintock's first child.

A team of paleontologists found matching dinosaur footprints on what are now two different continents, separated by thousands of miles of ocean.  The footprints, dating back to the Early Cretaceous period, were found in Brazil and in Cameroon , researchers wrote in a study published Monday by the New Mexico Museum of Natural History & Science. The discovery shows where land-dwelling dinosaurs were able to cross freely between South America and Africa before the two continents split apart millions of years ago . The study showed that the more than 260 footprints that were examined were imprinted in mud and silt along historic rivers and lakes; the footprints in South America and Africa were separated by more than 3,700 kilometers.
