Linkin Park New Singer "Emily Armstrong" From Rock Band Dead Sara : World Tour announcement

. Emily Armstrong from Dead Sara will join Linkin Park as a co-vocalist, the band announced on Thursday night during a live concert. In addition, the ensemble will include drummer Colin Brittain, a songwriter and producer for G Flip, Illenium, and One OK Rock.

. The band's first new song release in seven years, "The Emptiness Machine," and the lead single from their next album "From Zero" were released along with the news. The album, which is the group's first full-length release since 2017's "One More Light," which was released two months prior to lead vocalist Chester Bennington's passing, will be released on November 15 (via Warner Records).
. Together with its two new members, the group—which consists of Mike Shinoda, Brad Delson, Phoenix, and Joe Hahn—will proceed on a six-date arena tour that stops in Los Angeles, New York, Hamburg, London, Seoul, and Bogota. View the full itinerary for the excursion below.

. On Thursday, Linkin Park gave their first-ever live performance in Los Angeles to ticketed attendees who were driven to a studio lot via bus. For the following 24 hours, Linkin Park's main web channels will host live streaming of the event.

. A press statement stated that Shinoda, Delson, Farrell, and Hahn "quietly began meeting up again in recent years" and that they "found a special kinship with Armstong and Brittain" rather than "trying to restart the band." They collaborated with a variety of artists.

. "The Emptiness Machine," the new album from Linkin Park, is a reflection of both the band's modest roots and current journey. The album, named for their original band name, embraces their unique sound while welcoming fresh life and focuses on the past, present, and future. They deeply appreciate their longtime bandmates, friends, family, and fans, and it shows in the CD they made. Shinoda said the band is weaving together their musical touchpoints while exploring new ones, expressing the band's empowerment with the new lineup and the colorful, dynamic music they have created.

. LP Underground fan club members will be able to purchase pre-sale tickets for the "From Zero" tour beginning on September 6. On September 7, the general sale will begin the following day.

. The 20-song LP "Papercuts (Singles Collection 2000-2023)," featuring Linkin Park's biggest singles from the previous two decades, will be available soon. With tracks like "In the End," "Burn It Down," and "Numb/Encore," the 20-song Warner Records album helped the band's parent LP, "Meteora," peak at number one on the Billboard 200 chart.
