Vans Warped Tour is Rumored To Return In 2025

A story published by Rock Feed claims that several people with knowledge of the situation have hinted at a 2025 Warped Tour reunion. Kevin Lyman, the founder of Live Nation, will supervise the purported comeback.

"According to multiple sources familiar with the matter, Warped Tour will celebrate its anniversary with a series of festivals next year when Warped Tour returns in 2025," claimed Rock Feed's Brian Storm. "Live Nation will now be in charge of the rock festival, however Kevin Lyman, the founder of the event, is rumoured to be closely connected. Live Nation did not reply to a request for comment." Between 1995 and 2018, Warped Tour operated as a full-fledged touring event. In 2019, a few special one-off shows were held in honour of the tour's 25th anniversary. Lyman teased a possible revival of the festival under a different moniker for 2021, but of course the epidemic got in the way. 


Additionally, there were rumours that Chris Fronzak of Attila would purchase the festival, although that rumour never seemed to materialise. In a 2019 interview with Kerrang!, Lynman stated the following about the festival's closure.


"About 2017, it became really annoying. The broken fan base, broken band base, feeling of community, and the reason I went into punk rock challenged me to the point where I thought, 'You know, if it's changed this much, maybe it's time for me to wind this thing down.'"2017 was like 'F that band, F that band, where's this band?' regardless of who I put up. It was as if someone had asked, "Whatever happened to the love and acceptance of music?" And it dawned on me that we had dehumanised the audience"Warped became recognised as a young tour. However, I took that action because I wanted young people to hear this music and perhaps even support independent music for a longer period of time."

A team of paleontologists found matching dinosaur footprints on what are now two different continents, separated by thousands of miles of ocean.  The footprints, dating back to the Early Cretaceous period, were found in Brazil and in Cameroon , researchers wrote in a study published Monday by the New Mexico Museum of Natural History & Science. The discovery shows where land-dwelling dinosaurs were able to cross freely between South America and Africa before the two continents split apart millions of years ago .
