Huawei’s new Tri-fold phone gets 2.7 million pre-orders before Apple’s iPhone 16 launch


. On Monday, Huawei's website displayed that the company had received over 2.7 million pre-orders for its tri-fold smartphone. Pre-orders for the Mate XT were opened by the Chinese business on Saturday at noon. That was more than two days before Apple was supposed to announce the iPhone 16 on Tuesday early in the Beijing time zone.

. Huawei had earlier declared that on Tuesday at 2:30 p.m., it would introduce a new product. The Mate XT's price has not yet been disclosed by the business. Official sales of the smartphone are scheduled to begin on September 20. According to Canalys, Apple dropped out of the top five smartphone providers in China during the second quarter. According to the company, it was the first time that domestic players had all five spots. According to Canalys, Huawei shipped 10.6 million smartphones, placing it fourth in terms of market share.
