The three ticket sellers diverted customers to a page stating that their websites were experiencing heavy demand, while others were placed in what they called a "queue for the queue".

The tickets for the UK concerts were being sold online for more than £6,000, which is around 40 times the face value of a standing ticket, just after a three-hour pre-sale for a select few fans started on Friday.

The 1991 Manchester band Oasis will play 17 outdoor shows in the UK and Ireland in July and August of next year.
