Climate groups To Put $55M into Pro-Harris ads

Advocacy groups with an emphasis on climate change are spending $55 million on advertisements in an attempt to propel Vice President Harris to the presidency. 

The campaign is being launched by the Democratic-aligned Future Forward PAC in conjunction with the League of Conservation Voters Victory Fund, Environmental Defense Fund Action Votes, and Climate Power Action. Important swing states and Nebraska's 2nd Congressional District will host the advertisements. Read Here

Storm, landslides and floods of northern Philippines leaving 14 dead and many casualties.

Disaster response officials reported that at least 14 people had died in landslides , floo ds, and swollen rivers due to a strong storm that was blowing out of the northern Philippines on Tuesday. According to the weather agency, Tropical Storm Yagi blew by Paoay town in the province of Ilocos Norte and into the South China Sea with sustained winds of up to 75 kph (47 miles per hour) and gusts of up to 125 kph (78 mph) . It was predicted to intensify into a typhoon as it hurtles across the sea to the northwest and approaches southern China. The Russian Foreign Ministry is in an effort to "clarify" the 39-year-old founder and CEO of Telegram's imprisonment. Pavel Durov , the founder and CEO of Telegram, was taken into custody at the Paris airport Bourget on suspicion of charges relating to the program. According to Buenos Aires police, Liam Payne, a former member of the boyband One Direction, died after falling from the third storey of a hotel. His age was thirty-one.  According to the police statement given to CNN, Payne passed away on Wednesday at a hotel on Costa Rica Street in the Palermo neighbourhood. Police in Buenos Aires reported that after receiving a 911 call regarding an angry guy who may have been under the influence of alcohol or drugs, officers from the 14B Police Station visited the hotel on Wednesday afternoon. That individual was not identified as Payne in the police statement.
